Did You Know: Sean Bean

1. Sean Bean is boycotting Zales.  They said they were out of stock on the one ring of power. 

2. Sean Bean once feuded with the satellite TV companies.  He got his own dish and stole the Goldeneye satellite. 

3. Sean Bean once watched a civil war reenactment, he is quoted as saying, “If it doesn’t have Napoleon it’s not a real war.”

4. Sean Bean was once threatened by a mugger. Sean Bean pulled out his saber and beheaded the man.  He then sang, “Over the hills and far away.”

5. Sean Bean is fond of strawberries and often quips that things taste like them. 

6. Sean Bean has split personalities.  One is called Luck.  And the other?  Fate.

7. Sean Bean is currently in Boston looking for the treasure of the ancient Templars.

8. Sean is pronounced Seen in Gondor.  Bean is pronounced Bohn. 

9. Sean Bean joined the Lienz Cossacks after Waterloo.

10. Sean Bean likes his martinis shaken for no less than six minutes.

11. Sean Bean has both glib remarks and pithy comebacks.

12. Sean Bean is the only officer in the British Army still qualified with a Baker’s Rifle.

13. Sean Bean does not answer to Boromir.  He does however answer to Defender of Gondor. 

14. Sean Bean once killed an orc with a musket.  For this he was made an officer. 

15. Sean Bean never uses credit cards.  He always pays in Golden Eagles.

16. Sean Bean’s greatest fear is death by falling down a well.

17. Sean Bean’s greatest enemies are Nicholas Cage and the curator of the Smithsonian.

18. Sean Bean had his butler legally renamed Sergeant Harper. He then gave him a buffalo gun. 

19. Sean Bean was once a professional bull’s eye for an archery range.  He later used these skills in Lord of the Rings. 

20. Sean Bean is the only man to have survived Harrison Ford’s infamous boat hook attack. 

21. Sean Bean once built a giant wooden Oliphant.  Hollywood digital effects made it appear to be a horse in the movie Troy. 

22.  In 1993 the French formally surrendered to Sean Bean.  They did so again in 1994. 1995, 1996, and 1997.

23.  Sharpe’s Regiment remains unlisted on the rolls.  This is no doubt to use Sean Bean and the Chosen Men as a special forces.

24.  Sean Bean plays in the London Symphony Orchestra.  He’s always the one playing the Horn of Gondor. 

25.  Sean Bean’s favorite number is 6.  Least favorite…7.
